Vibrant Dawn - A heaven on Earth

         Last December, I had an opportunity to spend my vacation in a small village called Koderi near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu, India with my family. My uncle has a beautiful house over-looking a valley of the beautiful hills of Western Ghats. The weather during that time of year is extremely cold and it is hard to be without any insulation to our body. The sight of the hills from the front porch of the house was quite exotic and I started capturing it all with no further ado. I want to share the heavenly sight of the light breaking out of the dense, cold clouds in the early hours of the day. I used an ordinary point and shoot camera from Sony (W630). I have not done any digital editing or manipulation. It is all natural with a little color adjustment.

 This picture is my favorite. I was astonished by the incredible formation of colors over the clouds.

 The blending of the sunlight with the misty blue clouds is quite a treat for the eyes.

This particular picture reminded me of the fantasy movies. There is really nothing that can compete with the work of Mother Nature. It was quite an escape from the monotonous machine life in the concrete jungle. There are more to come. I appreciate your comments/feedback/suggestions. Thank you!
